We've all been getting back into the swing of things since Corona. Overall, it's a good thing, but sometimes we could use a little extra excitement, couldn't we?

We've mapped out several hiking treasure hunts that partly take place on the Sport Vlaanderen domain. They all start and end at The Gathering.

Feel like going on a pleasant journey with family and/or friends? Just come to The Gathering to pick up some tips, and you'll be on your way in no time! Send us an email so we can prepare the necessary materials, especially if you're with a larger group and want to go in separate waves.

Avontuurlijke wandelzoektocht bij The Gathering

We have mapped out several routes and can easily adapt them to your preferences in terms of time and difficulty. Perfect for a large teambuilding! Each group of approximately 10 walkers follows a different route, making cheating quite difficult! :-)

A few tips: you'll need a smartphone (iPhone coordinates are more accurate than other smartphones!) and your Google skills will be put to the test! At each calculated coordinate, you'll need to search for the next clue. The more eyes, the better! We recommend starting the trek with at least 4 people. Plan for at least 2 hours (for the truly speedy puzzle-solvers), but on average, it takes 3 hours to complete the trek. You can stop and return to The Gathering at any time.

You'll need an iPhone (for GPS accuracy), a charger, and it's a good idea to have an adult supervisor for children under 16 years old!

Catching Pokémons

Especially for the youngest among us, we have also planned an easier yet still quite adventurous walk. It also comes in two versions, one slightly more difficult than the other. This walk starts and ends at The Gathering.
Are your children full of energy? Time to stretch the little legs?  Send us an email so we can prepare the necessary paperwork, especially if you're with a larger group and want to go in different waves.

Some tips: you need a phone (iPhone coordinates are more accurate than other smartphones!) to start! You have to search for a Pokémon at the calculated coordinate. The more eyes the better! We recommend tackling the walk with at least 4. Count on at least 2 (for the real speedy detectives) but on average still 3 hours to do the walk. You can stop and return to The Gathering at any time.
