RC / Racing Nieuwrode
RC Nieuwrode was founded in 1952 and joined the Belgian Football Association with registration number 5560, using green and white as its colors. Nieuwrode started with a first team and a reserve team, playing in the provincial leagues.
Nieuwrode remained in the regional leagues with varying results. In 1973, the club became champions of the third provincial division, followed by several seasons in the second provincial division. In 1986, they were again champions in the third provincial division, and played in the second provincial division until the mid-1990s. However, around the turn of the millennium, the club began to decline and was relegated to the fourth provincial division a few times.
In 2011, the club resigned from the Belgian Football Association. They restarted as Racing Nieuwrode, joining the KBVB with registration number 9580.
After a few years at the lowest level, the fourth provincial division, Racing Nieuwrode promoted to the third provincial division in 2013.
VK Kortrijk-Dutsel
VK Kortrijk-Dutsel was affiliated with the KBVB with registration number 7758 and played in the third provincial division in 2014.
KDN United!
In 2014, Racing Nieuwrode and VK Kortrijk-Dutsel merged to form KDN United with registration number 7758.
