During an open day, you don't have to register with a large group. You can come alone or with a few friends or family members. The goal is to get to know both paintball and laser shooting. We provide you with tips and tricks, and you can join in with some experienced players who will teach you all the tricks right away. Everyone starts at their own level, so you can ease into it without stress!

    The concept of an Open Day with catering at The Gathering
    What is an open day? 

    You are alone or can't immediately convince enough friends to come and play paintball or laser tag? All your favorite uncles are on vacation? But it itches to come and play?

    You have no idea what paintball or laser tag is but would like to give it a try? Then the open days are for you!

    The concept of an open day is simple. We welcome you from 12 p.m. on open days, start at 1 p.m., and finish at 6 p.m. in the winter, 8 p.m. in the summer. You can walk in at any time, but of course, you'll miss some aspects if you join a bit later. First, we explain the basic concept of the game and equipment and then start with some simple games. We divide the group into at least two so that experienced players and beginners can play at their own pace. Later in the day, when everyone has warmed up a bit, we mix the groups, and you can compete side by side with the experienced players and pick up a lot of tips and tricks!

    Whether you have experience or simply a strong desire, we can all play together right away and dive in. You'll learn the tricks of the trade as you play! Who knows, maybe you're a top talent with quick reflexes and eagle eyes! Laser tag operates based on UV signals, similar to your TV remote control. Since the equipment works with specific software, you cannot bring your own gear for laser shooting. You'll receive everything you need from us on-site! Feel free to take a look at what awaits you!

    For an open day of laser tag, we charge €15 per player. This also includes your insurance for the day.

    Open day paintball 

    If you already have experience with paintball: You'll be grouped with other experienced players and divided into two or more teams to play several games.

    If you have no experience with paintball: You'll be grouped with other players who also have little or no experience. Under the guidance of our coaches, you'll receive your first tips and tricks. You can take your first steps through a few simple games.

    After a few rounds, all teams will be mixed so that less experienced players can play with more experienced ones and learn from the pros!

    You're welcome to bring your own equipment (marker and mask, entrance fee €10/player) or use our equipment (entrance fee €20/player). We will explicitly specify whether we are organizing a Junior or Master open day so you know what equipment you can bring.

    You are only allowed to use paintballs that we sell. Paintballs are sold at €45 per box of 2000 paintballs on an open day.

    Catering on open days

    Naast de paintball of lasershoot voorzien we wat eenvoudige snacks (gourmet hamburger en hotdog + vegetarisch alternatief) voor 4€.

    Allerlei soorten frisdrank, koffie, thee en bieren kan je altijd aan de bar verkrijgen. Tijdens hete zomerdagen stellen we ook gratis, gekoeld kraantjeswater ter beschikking.

    We bieden ook gratis lockers aan om je waardevolle spullen in op te bergen.

    In addition to paintball or laser tag, we provide some simple snacks (gourmet hamburger and hotdog + vegetarian alternative) for €4. You can always get various types of soft drinks, coffee, tea, and beers at the bar. On hot summer days, we also offer free chilled tap water. We also offer free lockers to store your valuables.

    Registration for an open day - MANDATORY

    REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY via mail. This allows us to keep track of the level of interest. Please include the following information in your email

    • 1) Your full name
    • 2) Age and experience level
    • 3) If it's a paintball open day: Whether you're bringing your own equipment or not
    • 4) Whether you prefer vegetarian, halal, gluten-free, or any other dietary alternatives. Otherwise, we'll assume you're open to all food options! ;-)

    You also need to make a deposit of €10 immediately to KBC BE45 7350 4996 5189, specifying your name, first name, and the open day date.

    It's always a bit of a gamble how many people will respond. Hopefully, we'll have a group of enthusiastic participants. If there aren't enough people, we will cancel this open day and refund your deposit right away. On to the next open day then! :-)
